Anicia was brought to San Francisco General last Friday. Mom, Jimvi, Sharon, Buddha, Connie and of course Rodge was with her before the the surgery.
Anicia is doing fine. Her surgery last Friday to put the her bone flap was a success. Thank you very much to everyone who prayed for her.
When she woke up, the nurse asked her name and she answered "Anicette," then she looked at Buddha and said, "oh." Then, the nurse pinched her right foot, it kicked high and Anicia said, "no."
Sharon rubbed her right arm and she said, "no" They said, why, can you feel it, and she said "yes." She can really feel on her right arm too! Yippie!!!
Thank you everyone for all your prayers. Please keep on praying... It's working...

What a great surprise... April Son, Anicia's friend from high school is visiting from Canada. She visited Anicia and showed her pictures of their silver jubilee homecoming. She was so excited and called God so many times "Oh my God!" She giggled when April said, she was sharing with me her escapades with Anicia during their high school days.
It was really interesting, Anicia still remembered a lot of her high school friends. April posted at her Facebook that she visited Anicia and lots of her HS friends posted they are still continously praying for her recovery.
Anicia was tired today when we visited. She woke up when we arrived and tried to stay up for us for about 2 hours until she can't anymore!
It was a great visit.
Rodger and I will be meeting with the SF Gen. doctors to discuss possibility of putting back her bone flap. Please pray for a successful surgery. Please keep on praying for her recovery. thank you, thank you... it is working.

Anicia is doing fantastic! She ate crabs, sinigang, sotanghon, chicken, lumpia, ice cream, bibingka, leche flan, fruit tart and banana cream pie.
I cut her hair yesterday sitting down. She enjoyed the nice breeze and sunshine at Mom's new place. She joined us in Concord. She did fine.
She can stand for 11 minutes straight! Like always, she ate and ate and ate... Ate looked really good. Happy Mother's Day!!!
Please keep on praying....

So much has happened... thank you for your patience. Anicia is doing so well. She has been going to Woodland 1 day a week to be with family for the past 3 weeks. She stays there all day.
Anicia celebrated Easter with us at Woodland. We completely forgot about the eggs because Anicia usually takes care of those minor details. Well, we had to cook 6 - 7 dozen eggs because no one was selling plastic eggs on Easter day. They were all sold out, imagine that! We ended up numbering each of the boiled eggs. Each number had a price to it. The golden egg was awarded to Anicia. She got the jackpot $70.00. We all had a good time.
She's still working on her speech. She can sit for hours, stand for about 7 minutes now, and eat on her own, solid food! She likes tasting everything that's on the table. I guess that's one thing Anicia will always have, appetite.
If you want to visit her, just let us know. We will give you the information so you can spend some time with her. She trully enjoys seeing friends and family.
Thank you so much for your prayers. Please keep on praying for Anicia. She is improving everyday.

Anicia is progressing very well. Last night was her first solid food meal. You should have seen the smile on her face, her eyes... it was priceless! Therapy is going well. She is saying more tagalog words.
Please keep praying. Someone's watching out for her.

OMG Anicia is doing so well. I brought rice and chicken tinola, she ate about 1 cup of it, regular food, NOT puree'. She looked really cheerful and full of smiles. So Anicia, I was feeding her and she kept making faces. Mom and I were wondering what was wrong with the food. She kept looking at me and finally, I think she couldn't hold it anymore, she laughed! She was teasing me, then gave me a thumbs up, she liked the food.
Therepist are starting to ask us to bring solid food. She stood up, on her own for about 2 minutes. She can sit without help for about 1 hour. She is really trying to talk. Still kinda frustrating though because it won't come out most of the time.
Rodge arrived and when he said, "I", Anicia replied, "love you!"
