Didn't realize, traffic starts at 2 in Hwy 4. Next time we know to eat on the road on the way to Emerald Gardens. It was such an awesome feeling when Anicia greeted us with a big smile and said "ano" (what?) and when she saw Mom, she gave her a hug and said "Mom" for the first time. She was very talkative during our stay. Renee, Damien, Jon-jon and Sasha joined us shortly.
Hi and hello comes natural already when she answers the phone. When we asked her where Megan is, she said "Mexico" and when we asked her if she was starting to eat soft diet food, she said "this morning".
Dinner consists of 7 different kinds of stuff from soup to jello, mashed potatoes with gravy... she ate about 3 different kinds, the rest she didn't really care for. She got excited when I told her Iwill bring arroz caldo when I get back. Maybe, we can puree some mongo with rice or sinigang... just kidding!
It was such a good feeling when we went home. It's too bad, Sacramento is so far, we can't stay any longer or visit as often. But we will try the best we can.

good to hear that anicia is in a nursing home and going thru therapy. i am sure she will be back to her normal self in 2-3 months. what is megan doing in mexico??? is that an inside joke or something? this is the dad inquiring. anicia, hoy gising na! yani

ReplyDeletehey ate, i havent seen you in almost 2 weeks now but i promise this saturday..i saw ygnacio our waiter in mexico and i said rapido for you. the kids had fun, we all went to the international market 3 times, just didnt ride the cab this time...but that trip will never be the same without you.. you missed this i=one but im sure the next one you have to go with them na ha...cant wait to see you, im sorry i havent been posting any comments here just pro club time you know how it is..but iloveyou...miss you na...oo pala si josh can now say you want time out and sometimes puts himself in a corner lol!!!see you saturday...im making molo gusto mo??

You should've seen all the boys!!! LOL Anyhow, I hear you're doing very good and I can't wait to come and see you again soon. ReplyDeleteIt's Ate Jimvi's & Marky' birthday. Rodge called me if I'm going to Carla's house I told him I'm not sure bec Im waiting for Kristina & Luis. His so nice he told me he will give me a ride home. I went w/ mommy & sasha. Marky's friend & Megan's friend were all there. We went to visit you of course nawala kami. It took us almost 1hr to get to Sacramento kasi si Buda yung nagdrive. Anyways we got there almost 7:00 pm I could see Rodge his so tired & very hungry Buda bring some food pero walang spoon. You look so different you really improved. You talked & smile I was telling you about your friend Belay & Yani your just smiling. I was telling you how she looks like during your highschool days.
